Modeled from an actual piece of crumpled paper while experimenting with form in the studio. The Raised Dish translates the delicate, unpredictable folds of crinkled paper into a tactile form. Supported by minimalist spherical feet, the draped form floats just barely above the surface, creating subtle shadows that highlight its crisp, organic edge. Cast in black terrazzo on light grey, each piece features a dense, high contrast speckled pattern and a smooth, satin finish. 

Designed to hold small treasures, or stand alone as an architectural object.
